The roads are a pleasure to drive on, wide and well maintained with fantastic views. The cottage postcode DG2 8RP is located approximately halfway between Dumfries and the town of Castle Douglas. It is about 10 miles from each town.The cottage sits half a mile from the nearest public road, The Old Military Road, which runs parallel to the A75. Access to the cottage is via a private road.
