Aberdeen airport is seven miles from the city centre on the A96 near Dyce. The local train station to Aberdeen airport is Dyce is a short taxi journey from the airport. It runs a service to the mainline station in Aberdeen and from there you can catch a train to Inverurie, or hire a car. If approaching from Inverness follow the A96 as far as Forres, then take the B9089 Burhead road East bound passing through the sleepy villages of Muirhead and Hempriggs.
