The nearby village of Borve is steeped in history or if you fancy a drive then a short but scenic drive away is the Callanish Stones and Stornoway is only half an hour in the car. In fact, it is only an hour to the Isle of Harris which has a whole host of delights to offer visitors and is well worth a day trip.
