The ultimate hideaway for couples, Cuir-na-Bhoir is small but perfectly formed and its signature thatched roof helps to set the tone for this enchanting property. The traditional Hebridean cottage offers its guests warm and welcoming accommodation.

Inside, there is an open-plan living space with the inviting sitting area offering a homely sanctuary with snug seating, attractive cushions and throws and a feature fireplace, all adding up to create a truly idyllic space to hide away from the world. The compact but well-equipped kitchen comes with everything needed to create a romantic meal for two and you can imagine enjoying candlelit meals here while enjoying spending quality time together. The views of the surrounding ocean are simply sublime no matter what time of day or year so grab a jumper, a steaming cup of hot chocolate and snuggle up with your loved one while soaking up those unforgettable views. However, if you are up for a day trip then hop in the car and get ready for some amazing views. Benbecula is well worth a visit where you can go otter spotting, take a ride along the beach at Uist Community Riding School or play golf on the 18-hole golf course which boasts some spectacular views. Head further north where you will find the Isle of North Uist which also loads going on including the bustling town of Lochmaddy which is only half an hour’s drive from the cottage and has a good selection of shops, boutiques, bars and restaurants and from here you can catch a boat to the Isle of Skye if you want to carry on exploring the wonderful islands of the Outer Hebrides. The Isle of South Uist can be reached by ferry from Oban to Lochboisdale, or from Uig on Skye to Lochmaddy.

This ferry docks at Lochmaddy on North Uist, which is connected to South Uist by causeway.
