Offering Spacious self catering close to Thurso Ardbeg is a single-storey Holiday cottage set in its own delightful garden and enjoys magnificent views across open countryside. Situated on the owners’ 600-acre working sheep and beef farm, it has miles of lovely walks through the surrounding countryside, taking in hills, lochs and river along the way.
Ardbeg is completely secluded within its own landscaped and picturesque gardens, yet is easily accessible and just a 10-minute drive to the centre of Thurso. The cottage has a very spacious, bright and modern kitchen/dining room, with built-in appliances and a large dining table for up to eight guests. The living room is a real delight. Permits to fish for trout and salmon are available in season. The coast around this area is also renowned for its bird and sea life. Puffins, great skua, otters, seals, dolphins and whales are all seen here.
