This quirky Country Cottage offers a lovely relaxing Holiday experience in Caithness perfect for short stays or weekly holidays. The Old Tea Shop is a semi-detached country cottage sleeping up to 4 people – formerly an old Sweet Shop & Tea Room.

Caithness and Sutherland form the sparsely un-populated, but vastly scenic and interesting Northern Highlands of Scotland and the cottage is an ideal base for exploring this Northern Wilderness. Situated between the lovely town of Thurso and the famous John-O-Groats, ideally positioned for people taking trips to the Orkney Islands via Gills Bay Ferry.

The Cottage comprises a large open-plan Living Area/Kitchen featuring wood-burning stove, Large Flat-Screen 3D Television & Blueray DVD Player also Wi Games Console, Oil-fired Rayburn, Central Heating, Leather corner Suite, Welsh Dresser and traditional furnishings.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all crockery, Microwave, Washer/Dryer/ Fridge/Dishwasher/traditional Belfast sink
Wifi is complimentary throughout the cottage. Supply of complimentary logs, further logs available for purchase.

The bedrooms are both en-suite and have exposed beams with rustic style furnishings.
The double en-suite bedroom comprises of Victorian Style Bedstead, Wardrobe/Dressing Table Linen & towels, Television
Free-standing Victorian Bath, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet and Shower.

The Old Tea Shop has it’s own parking area and enclosed garden with garden furniture. The Courtyard area
